What is Bio-Polymer Masterbatch?

In order to achieve sustainability goals and reduce the environmental footprint in the plastics industry, we produce biodegradable and compostable biopolymer systems. We develop color and additive formulations that are fully compatible with biodegradable polymer matrices such as PLA, PBAT, and PHA, obtained from renewable resources as an alternative to fossil-based raw materials. These series, prepared with advanced technology in our production facilities, meet international compostability standards such as EN 13432 and ASTM D6400 and are completely degraded by microorganisms without harming the soil.

The biological solutions we offer in a wide range from eco-friendly packaging to agricultural mulch films and single-use products ensure a production cycle respectful of nature while preserving the mechanical strength, flexibility, and visual quality of the final product.

Recommended Dosage

  • In single-use products and thermoforming applications: 1.0% - 3.0%
  • In agricultural mulch films and thin flexible packaging: 2.0% - 4.0%
  • In injection molding and thick-walled compostable parts: 2.0% - 5.0%
