In the plastics industry, the most demanding processes require high-concentration Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) solutions that push the boundaries of the polymer. At Erk-Han Masterbatch, we manufacture advanced engineering-grade Titan series that provide excellent melt flow (MFI) and flawless dispersion even at TiO2 loadings up to 80%.

Surface-Treated Rutile Titanium and Lacing Resistance

In high-temperature extrusion and cast film processes, we utilize premium Rutile Titanium Dioxide with special alumina/silica surface treatment. This advanced technology prevents volatility at high temperatures, completely eliminating lacing problems and ensuring your production lines operate seamlessly at maximum speed.

Light Barrier and Maximum Opacity

Our Titan formulations create a perfect optical shield within the polymer matrix, reducing UV and visible light transmission to zero. It ensures absolute opacity even at very low let-down ratios, extending the shelf life of packaged food such as dairy (UHT) and edible oils.

Excellent Dispersion and Multi-Layer Film Compatibility

Our advanced production facility guarantees the dispersion of high percentages of TiO2 particles without agglomeration. This completely prevents the formation of pinholes or surface roughness in multi-layer ultra-thin flexible packaging like BOPP and CPP, significantly enhancing surface quality and printability.

Food Contact Compliance and Regulation
