Slip Masterbatch

What is Slip Masterbatch?

We produce high-performance slip systems to ensure maximum processability in production lines by reducing the coefficient of friction in plastic film, packaging, and injection molding processes. Our advanced engineering formulations based on erucamide and oleamide migrate from the polymer melt to the surface in a controlled manner, creating a microscopic lubrication layer. This technological structure minimizes the friction of the polymer with metal surfaces and its own layers.

These series, prepared with precise tolerances in our production facilities, ensure smooth sliding of films in high-speed packaging machines while bringing the torque opening force to ideal levels in cap and closure applications. We offer long-term surface slip and excellent mold release performance with an optimized migration rate without spoiling the optical clarity and heat seal properties of the polymer.

Recommended Dosage

  • In standard plastic film and packaging applications: 1.0% - 2.0%
  • In injection molding, cap, and closure (torque opening) applications: 1.5% - 2.5%
  • In high-speed packaging machines and special processes: 2.0% - 3.0%
